That’s why on January, 1st, believers from the Church of Jesus Christ in Minsk gathered as one family to the common meeting of the Church to enter the 2012th year together.

New Year – most joyful, bright and jubilant holiday with the aroma of Christmas fir tree, glitter of the decorations, fireworks and gifts. Both children and adults like it and everyone is celebrating it in their own way. But for 3 years already when on December, 31st, clock strikes 12, believers of the Church of Jesus Christ are celebrating this holiday in the house of God, entering New Year with prayer.

On November 24th, 2009 in Kiev took place meeting of Pastors' Council of Calvary Fellowship of Belarus in body. Pastor Nicolay Kozel expressed regrets that meeting of the same people is impossible in Belarus, because pastor of the church in Minsk "Ioann Predtecha" [John the Baptist], Yaroslav Lukasik was deported from the country in June, 2007, and the bishop of Calvary Fellowship, Benjamin Brukh was deported in October, 2008. Calvary Fellowship is a spiritual association of Christian churches and ministries in Belarus, based on the unity of visions and purposes - information from the press-center of Calvary Fellowship of Belarus.

Dina Shavtsova, lawyer and human rights advocate participated in the work of the round table discussion “Preservation of Human Rights in the Republic of Belarus” that was held on June, 9th, initiated by Belarusian Christian Democracy. Representatives of political parties and social organizations working in the area of human rights participated in it.
One of the matters discussed by the participants was the situation of “New Life” church.
