About the ministry

Ministry "Hot Bread" provides resources (books, videos, movies, music CDs, video and audio records of sermons and teachings) for ministers and ministry of the Church of Jesus Christ through:

1. Book, audio and video libraries.
2. Book store in church.

Purpose:

Support, advertising and distribution of materials that promote the spiritual growth of church' members.

Tasks and goals:

1. Inviting new people into this ministry
2. Expanding the DVD library to have 150 DVDs
3. Upgrading the paper catalogue of books, tapes and disks into electronic form
4. Continuing of making the database with e-mails of library users
5. Making periodical send-out of e-mails to library users
6. Continuing archiving the books and tapes that are not popular. Making room for the book archive and for the storage of audio and video tapes
7. Converting best tapes into digital format
8. Conducting the services "Cast your bread upon the waters" for the churches of "Calvary Fellowship"
9. Purchasing new books and disks and also inviting the church members to expand the library resources from their personal libraries
10. Purchasing the computer for the ministry

History of ministry:

Ministry of providing resources follows services of the Church of Jesus Christ in Minsk since the first years of its foundation. At the beginning stage ministry was working through the libraries of books, audios and videos. Since 1999 it works through the selling of necessary resources in the book store of the church. Presently, ministry continues to develop. We invite all interested church members into this ministry. Ministry needs help making an inventory of libraries and also it needs workers to issue and collect materials during the days of services of the church.

We see the following place of scripture as foundation for the ministry: Ephesians, 4:11-12 «And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ...»

God has provided these gifts to the Body of Christ worldwide. He gave His ministers talents to release them through the writing of books, songs, making movies, broadcasts, through the preaching of the word. All these things are necessary for church's growth and development.

Ministry of resources "Hot Bread" will continue to move on toward fulfilling the vision of the local Church of Jesus Christ for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.

If you decide to purchase materials, we are waiting for you during the 1st and 2nd breaks between services on Sundays and on Thursdays 6:00pm to 7:00pm (on the days when services are hosted in the church).
