History of the ministry:
Home groups' ministry was started practically in a few months after the Church of Jesus Christ in Mink was born. God was adding many people to the church - they needed someone to lead them in growing up in Christ and to care about them. Main purpose of home groups originally was fellowship. Those new born Christians that were given by pastors several lessons of leadership were becoming ministers of home groups. They were becoming leaders who grew in the Lord together with their groups, with their church. During the whole history of the church home groups were growing, splitting, multiplying.
In 1998 there were 85 home groups in the church.
When authorities forbade us to rent the hall at Matusevicha street, for several months church was gathering on Sundays in home groups where pastor's sermon, recorded on videotape, was watched. This way whole church was receiving the same food and the church members realized the special importance of home groups.
Home groups are arranged by districts of Minsk. They are supervised by regional pastors. Right now there are 41 home groups in the church.
Districts:
West - Y. and L. Golovan' - 11 home groups.
Center - N. Varenick - 11 home groups.
South - M. Konovalova - 8 home groups.
West and South-West - A. Pavlovich - 8 home groups.
"King's Kids" ministry - A. Drigaylo - 3 home groups.
